He thinks both are "awesome". Sackboy is from an Alan Dart pattern which you can download free from the Sun (don't agree with the Sun's politics, but you can't argue with free knitting patterns). He was quite fun to make, the hands confused me at first but if you follow the pattern they are fine.
The curtain fabric is from IKEA. My mum has been on a curtain course and she suggested I start with the bottom hem so I can get it really straight. Normally I would do the bottom hem last, but I think this way gives much better results. The fabric is nearly three times as wide as the finished width to allow for the pleats.
Hopefully everything will settle down now so I can get on with the blog and making stuff for the shop. There's an exciting new blouse coming, I promise, it's sat there sleeveless and unhemmed!
